Associate DVM

Dr. Sulik grew up in Beech Island, SC, and she always knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. She spent her childhood riding horses and taking care of her family dogs, which she says contributed to her choice in career path. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a BS in Ecology, and graduated vet school in 2011 from the University of Tennessee. Currently, she resides in Blowing Rock, NC with her husband Clay and their daughters; Violet (aspiring veterinarian), Lila (lover of all things cats), and Morgan (aspiring artist). They also share their home with their dogs; Oso (chihuahua mix), Mad Max (chihuahua), Skittles (frenchton), and cats; Hiker (orange tabby) and Captain Jack (one eyed- kitty).

Dr. Sulik has been doing relief work for DAE since their first year opening, and recently decided to come on full time because of the quality of care the pets receive and the incredible staff and clients. In her spare time, she enjoys mountain biking, fishing, camping, and being with her family.
